Details
Ocotea, Ocotea quixos is a species of evergreen tree in the Lauraceae family. It is native to Ecuador and Colombia. It has a cinnamon-like aroma.

It grows to over 18 meters in height and has a diameter of around 60 cm. The trees are known to need around 20 years before they start flowering bi annually.
