Myrtle Essential Oil

Myrtle, Myrtus communis is a evergreen flowering shrub that is native to southern Europe, north and western Africa, western Asia, Macaronesia, and the Indian Subcontinent.

It grows to around 5 meters in height and the leaves are 2 – 5 cm long. The flowers have five petals and are white in color and often with a slight pink. The berry fruits are bluish black in color when ripe.
