Hyssop – Hyssopus officinalis, is a shrub that is native to the region surrounding the Caspian Sea, Southern Europe and Middle East.
It is brightly colored and grows up to 60 cm in height. The stem is woody at the base and consists of a number of upright branches. Its leaves are oval, tapering to a point and is dark green in color. The leaves can grow up to 2.5 cm in length. Hyssop produces flowers that are pinkish in color.
