How To Do Steam Inhalation With Essential Oils

Inhaling hot steam may bring much needed relief to your nasal discomfort. It may thin mucus and encourage drainage from your nose.
Besides that, it is a great activity to do when winding down for the day. The very act of slowing down and inhaling with purpose promote feelings of calm, relaxation and focus.

Add a few drops of essential oil such as Lavender for relaxation or Peppermint for a “stuffy” nose and enjoy a new level of wholesome synergy.

Steam Inhalation

  1. Pour boiling water into a large bowl
  2. Add a few drops of chosen essential oil
  3. Cover your head with a towel, lean over the bowl, and breathe in the steam
  4. Take slow deep breaths

Keep it to a few times a day and be mindful of the heat. Now go have your home spa experience!
