Grapefruit Essential Oil

Grapefruit, Citrus paradisi is a subtropical citrus tree. It’s fruit is known to be large, sour to semi-sweet and somewhat bitter. Grapefruit is a citrus hybrid originating in Barbados due to an accidental cross between sweet orange and pomelo.

The evergreen grapefruit trees usually grow to around 5–6 meters (16–20 ft) tall and have leaves that are dark green, long, thin and glossy. It produces white four-petaled flowers of about 5cm. The colour of the fruit’s skin is yellow-orange and has a diameter of about 10 to 15cm.
