Clary Sage, salvia sclarea, is a herbaceous perennial plant that is native to the Northern Mediterranean Basin and some areas of North Africa and Central Asia.
Clary Sage grows up to 1.22 m in height and has thick squarish stems that are covered in hairs. The leaves are usually 0.3 m in length at the base and shortens to about 0.15 m in length when higher on the plant. The flowers are held in large colorful bracts that range in colors such as lilac, white and with a pinkish edge.
